Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Lord has anointed your life. 'Since the moment of your conception, God's hand was upon you and His anointing was upon you.'

When understanding God's plan for our lives, it is from this relationship that He reveals His plans. In the gospel, we see His hand upon John from the beginning where authentic mission is born from communion with the Father.

There is no fear to be had in the safety of his arms where we are made His children.
