The Baptism of the Lord

At this time, John is baptizing people symbolically for them to mark a change in their life. Jesus comes to show what the sacrament of Baptism will be.

Jesus shows us that the whole Trinity is there in an invitation for a whole new beginning, a new way of living. The Father then claims us as His own as He does with Jesus and says,

"This is my beloved son with whom I'm well pleased.

This is my beloved daughter with whom I'm well pleased.

I will never forget you."

Jesus, please teach me how to live as a son or daughter.
