Third Sunday of Lent

What would happen in we approached Jesus with our honesty of where we are at? How would He respond to our tiredness, our longings, our needs, our short-comings, our sins?

In the gospel, we see His response. He asks for a drink to the women at the well. For He too is tired and longing. He is longing for us, He tires in wanting to encounter souls and love them.

Will we allow Jesus to see the needs of our hearts? Will we allow Him to fill those desires and places of longing?

Will we give Him a drink at the well of our hearts?
