2nd Sunday of Lent

In the many crosses and trials that Abram went through, it is beautiful to reflect on him thinking back on the first moment he met God. 

Moses in his first encounter with God, sees the burning bush, and hears Him speak through His own creation. This is the moment that replays in his head as he crosses the desert and comes across many frustrations.

Even in the gospels, Jesus reveals Himself to Peter, James, and John on a mountain. This life changing encounter is met with the chaos and crosses that they returned to at the bottom on the mountain. 

Our encounter with Jesus in our daily lives, in the eucharist, is what our hearts desire.
